Very Suspicious: fifty-news.com - $7 for reading news - hosted in the Ukraine

by Rudolf Faix 30. June 2015 10:37

Update July 1, 2015: This site is only a time-waster. Be happy that you wasted only time and not money by participating at this sites hosted in the Ukraine for the case you signed up already. If you did not sign-up then use your time for something better.

The reason is described in the article Phishing: Survey & News Sites hosted at the Ukraine .

FiftyNewsfifty-news.com declares themselves as a news promoter. The domain fifty-news.com is registered using an Australian privacy protection service with the Russian domain registration organization. The domain is 10 days old - she got registered during June 19, 2015. The site fifty-news.com is hosted in the Ukraine:

IP Address Country Region City ISP

46.28.65.218 Ukraine  Kharkivs'ka Oblast' Kharkiv Itl Company

You earn by reading the news on the site. For each news you read you get $7. You can read about 35 fresh news on the site every day. You get your payment at any moment if you have the minimum sum. For that you need to enter Nickname and your account number from PayPal or Payza. Payments will be sent every 14 workdays. Minimum sum to pay out is $2300.

There is a referral program on the site. Spread your referral link in Facebook or other social networks and get $40 for every involved partner and 20% from his everyday earnings.

What makes the site suspicious:

  • The site likes to make the impression that she is already a long time available. For this is written at the site that you can earn from $5 until $9 for each news you read and in the news bar with the date May 13: "Dear Users! Bonus for reading news is $7 now!" and with date June 8: "Dear Users, glad to tell you: get $40 for each involved partner till the end of June". The site got registered on June 19, 2015.

  • The news for which you get paid are looking strange too. They even don't have a link to the source. Here are three examples:
    Fire hits Japanese bullet train
At least two people have been seriously injured when a man started a fire on a Shinkansen bullet train in Japan, officials say.

China stocks are giving investors a nasty case of whiplash
China stocks resumed their volatile decline on Tuesday, compounding losses that have erased trillion of dollars in market value in recent weeks.

    Injured Tunisia Britons flown home
Four British tourists seriously injured in the Tunisian beach attack have been flown back to the UK by the RAF.
  • Not one news company will pay for such a way of displaying their news. It needs to be a promotion for the company and an invitation to their site that the news company will pay for it.

  • fifty-news.com uses the same privacy protection service like tempoquiz.com, whosurvey.com, vacantsurvey.com and wheresurvey.com.

It seems that fifty-news.com has found a lot of stupid people which are trusting to their promotion - there is no other way how the Alexa global ranking cannot get explained:

Update July 1, 2015: The payout has yesterday increased to $9.10 per viewed news. I have increased my balance from zero to $337.40 by reading 44 news during the last 24 hours. Before I don't reach the payout limit and see the money at my Paypal account, I'll not recommend the system.

Take a look at my reports about
