Scammer: Gerardas Norkus - paid-to-read-email.com

by Rudolf Faix 9. November 2015 12:01

It seems that the scammer Gerardas Norkus is running with his domain paid-to-read-email.com a lead generation system for other scam and malware sites. The scam gets already found at the faq's of the website paid-to-read-email.com. In these FAQ and his terms and conditions he thinks that he can stand over the law of the European Union. The site paid-to-read-email.com is registered in Lithuania and Lithuania is a member of the European Union. For this the scammer Gerardas Norkus has to respect the ecommerce law and the consumer protection law of the European Union. Maybe the scammer thinks that Lithuania still belongs to the formerly USSR. It would be time for him to wake up from this dream.

The scam from Gerardas Norkus on the site paid-to-read-email.com can get easily identified. He declares in the FAQ that the minimum payout is $15. You'll get for each email you'll read between $0.01 and $0.05. The scam gets found in that what he calls "garanteed paid emails (GPE)". That are only 100, which have in sum a value of $1. Together with the $3 sign-up bonus and the paid emails you'll reach only a maximum value of $4, which is far under the minimum payout of $15. You can increase your GPE factor by completing some surveys or offers. The problem is only that there are no offers on the site and the survey links are leading to scam, phishing, virus and malware sites. As it is a requirement in his offer to complete such surveys is he in front of law liable for the content of the sites including the scam, phishing, viruses and malware! This responsibility cannot get excluded by writing some statements on a website because it is a part of his business.

Here are the FAQ of the page paid-to-read-email.com. If you read them with an open mind then you'll get it that you get guaranteed NOT PAID

What is Paid To Read Email®?
Paid To Read Email® is an online rewards community where you can earn money for reading emails, taking surveys, completing offers, referring friends and more! You can also choose to earn points that are redeemable for gift cards, guaranteed™ paid emails (GPE) and more.

Here gets already the first part of the scam found. You have to buy the "guaranteed paid emails" with your work. With other words you are paying with your workforce the scam.

How does Paid To Read Email® pay me to read email?
Paid To Read Email® will pay you $0.01 - $0.05 for every paid email that you confirm. Simply follow the instructions in the paid email you receive, and your account will be credited! Note that you won't be credited for reading paid emails if your guaranteed™ paid emails (GPE) are expired.

In this case the scammer Gerardas Norkus likes to burden his duties to the consumer. The problem is only that this is against the consumer protection law of the European Union. As soon as the the customer of his site - it does not make any difference if the offer is free of charge or not - does a job, in this case reading of an email as offered, the customer has to get paid.

How and when will I be paid?
Member commissions shall be paid by PayPal. Payments are processed within three (3) business days upon request, however your first time payment is processed on a net-15 basis. This means that your first payment will be processed 15 days from the end of the month in which you requested payment. This waiting period is necessary in order to prevent online fraud. Member commissions must exceed $15 in order to receive payment. Commissions earned during any month less than $15 will be carried over into the following month.

In the above statement the stupid scammer Gerardas Norkus does not know that he has to pay by law in any case as soon as the consumer has seen the counter. A printout of the page where the amount is written is enough evidence for the law court.

You are able to calculate how long it will take until you get a payout by the fact, that I have gotten exactly 0 (zero) paid emails within 24 hours after signing up for the service. The scammer hopes that the people will take the trap with his malware sites if they are not able to earn something.

Why was I not credited for reading paid emails?
You won't get credited for confirming paid emails if your guaranteed™ paid emails (GPE) are expired. You can see your current GPE amount when you login to your account and go to Earnings page. You can increase your GPE by taking surveys and offers, or by earning points and redeeming them for GPE.

Note that the higher paid email rate you have selected in your profile the faster your GPE will expire.

Like it is written before already, the customer has to get paid as it offered. The idea that the scammer can let the customer working free of charge confirms the scam!

Why was I not credited for surveys and offers that I completed?
There are several possible reasons for not getting credited in your account. Note that Paid To Read Email® does not credit member accounts for completing surveys and offers. This process is handled by the advertiser companies who hosts and maintains all of the surveys and offers. The company who credits the surveys and offers has the final say in whether or not you are credited, and reserves the right to refuse a member credit for a survey or offer for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to, lack of appropriate information, improper sign-up, improper browser settings, and/or a history of manual credits. If you do not see the credit in your account, that means that Paid To Read Email® did not receive credit either, and we therefore cannot pay you.

Even here is the scammer Gerardas Norkus wrong. As the surveys from other companies are a part of his offer is he liable for the payment of his customers. It does not matter if he gets some money for the work of his customers for another company or not. He is even liable for the promises of the other sites!

Scamadviser reports about the site paid-to-read-email.com:

Technical contact email address is a free one
Administrative contact email address is a free one
This website is associated with a risk site
This website setup involves countries known to be high risk
This website is likely to be operating from a high risk country

This site has a high risk country associated with it. This may be as you expect but care should be taken if purchasing an item from a site that you didn't expect to be associated with the countries listed above. Certain countries are listed as being high risk because of the high percentage of online fraud or tendency to send fake/replica items.

Free email addresses have been used in the setup of this website. This is not necesarily worrying, depending on the site. For online shops, this can be a sign that the site has some risk

In the following list you'll see for which sites the scammer Gerardas Norkus makes lead generation. Each of the survey sites from his member section generates an Adguard and a security warning from 360 Total Security. Cash4offers - Gerardas Norkus this guy is ripping people off and must be stopped ripoff Lithuania Internet

this guy is ripping people off and must be stopped. after i signed up and completed offers using my credit card i had over 50 dollars in my account (which you need before you can request a check to be sent to you). now i cant logg on my account is blocked. after l search this guy he has his fingers in alot of scams. fake cds how-to-get rich scams. im taking this action further! also more paid survey sites, which im guessing all these sites belong to him after i searched them and found his name behind most of them.

WHAFF - fake and misleading promotion

by Rudolf Faix 17. August 2015 12:08

WHAFFA Facebook advertisement of the scammer Jason White brought the app WHAFF into my focus. Everything what seems to good to be true is not true. The promotion for WHAFF is free invented:

Don't worry friends see the payment proof also

Guys Try it and see within one months you will be able to earn $500-$1000

Instead of earning $10 for signing up, you get $0.30. Instead of earning $20 - $40 per day, you need to be happy if you are earning $0.20 per day. You need only take a look at the offers in WHAFF and you'll get it that even $0.20 will be a high earning. An earning from your referrals is not foreseen like we can see on the following screen-shot:
WHAFF invite screen

Even the attached payment proof is a fake. At the payment proof we can see a payment of $10, but WHAFF does not pay $10 - the minimum payment is in every case higher:
WHAFF payout screen

While others are paying within a few minutes WHAFF hopes that they are able to find during three days a reason to decline the payment. That does not make them to a trustful company. Additional are they hiding their domain registration behind a privacy protection service:

If you visit their website and click at "SignIn" or "SignUp" then you get the message "The page whaff.com says: Comming Soon". It looks for me as the domain got registered January 2011 that this menu entry is comming soon since more than 4.5 years and did not arrive until now.

All the above facts are making the promotion (app description) of WHAFF in the Google Playstore to a bad joke:

Suspicious Sites

Time-Waster: uento.com - Nicholas Thompson - Apogaeis Technologies - apogaeis.com

by Rudolf Faix 15. July 2015 04:49

Uentouento.com is nothing else than a big time-waster. I have installed their software on June 22. You need to collect points. For some software you install on the phone you'll get 3 points. For some other kind of software you'll get 5 points if you install it and run it once. Another kind of software you'll need to install it, run it and keep it at least 72 hours on the phone. For this kind of software you'll get 8 points.

The problem is that there is not enough software available that you can earn some money because 250 points are only equal to $2.50. Additional is there a problem that the recognition of the software for which you'll get 8 points has a lot of failures and you don't get the points for the reason that the software got updated in the meantime or some other failures. I could collect only 235 points during 3 weeks and I have been looking a few times a day for getting new software offered. Additional I reached an user level of 14. An user level of 20 is necessary to get your affiliate code and that you are able to promote their system.

After an update yesterday I could install only one program and got afterwards the message "maximum installs exceded". After a reboot of the phone I got the message that I have changed the country and for this reason I'm now blocked for 5 days. It seems that the uento programmer are so stupid and don't know that airplanes are available which can bring you in a little time to another country. You can be sure that I did not change any country settings on my smartphone.

An email to Nicholas Thompson - the domain owner - remained unanswered. Another email is provided but not working. Nicholas Thompson seems to be a private person which seems to be a script kiddie and seems to dream about getting rich fast.

if you write an email to info@uento.com (email address provided at the Google Playstore) you'll get the following error:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

     info@uento.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain uento.com

by mail.waypedia.com

. [104.237.130.50].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.1.1 <info@uento.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table

With other words all provided information from the "company" have the same quality like their program!

If you are an masochist or you like to tease yourself than uento is the right program for you.

As the earning possibilities are only very little is the result of the percentage which you can earn from others nearly zero. For this reason and their worse and cheap programming is the system nothing else than scam.

The scam gets confirmed as at the Google Playstore is written: "offered by Apogaeis Technologies". A Google Search results the following address: Apogaeis Technologies, A-301, 2nd Floor, Stpi Block, Kssidc Block 3,, Electronic City Phase-1, Electronic City Bengaluru, Karnataka 560100, +91 88672 64169, http://www.apogaeis.com/.

At http://www.apogaeis.com/ you'll find the very impressing web site (screen shot below):

Homepage in maintenance mode

You see that everything is built up with as little effort as possible and with a lot of different address information for confusing the user. A company which is working this way is not trustworthy. You can see the chaotic kind of their work in every part - the website, the program, the idea behind the app.

Not one serious company disallows search engines indexing their sites. Only criminals are doing this. The Wayback Machine gives the message "Page cannot be crawled or displayed due to robots.txt." With other words the content of the page is since the domain got  created (2 years ago) the same. Scammer are very lazy!

As everytime is the promotion looks and sounds much more better than the product:

You want to make money with phone?
FREE & TESTED
You need:
- email address
- android phone
- paypal account
it's no joke !!!
only serious people who are content with little in the beginning and in time come to more !!!

ONLY ANDROID
1. go your browser phone to -->> www.uento.com and download the app UENTO free
2.singup: - name
- email
- password
- refferal code: Egslo
3. in e-mail with you register you receive an e-mail from waypedia in which is a code consisting of numbers and letters for account validation
copy code-->go to uento--> menu-->myprofile-->press verify email with code
4.download free app to get points
5.payment in paypal

negative:

  • you need a level of 20 until you get an referral code for promoting the app
  • only a few apps available
  • you get apps listed, which you had already installed
  • you need 250 points to get $ 2.50 paid to your paypal account
  • You need to check the site many times a day to get new apps for installing
  • You should have a virus scanner at your device - in one case an app tried to install a trojan at my test device - Photo Lock Screen
  • you get apps listed, which are not available for your region - an example is Guvera Music

July 14, 2015: I'm locked for the reason that I should have changed my country! At the moment I'm on userlevel 14 and have 235.11 points. 250 points have the value of $2.50!!!

Suspicious Sites

Spamming Blog comments and Forums

by Rudolf Faix 21. June 2015 11:49

No SpamSpammers have tried to post their stupid content 143 times since June 8, 2015 as comments to my articles at the Affiliates Marketing Reviews blog. More than 70% from this postings got automatically deleted.

Spamming blog comments and forums does not help you in SEO or brings you more visitors to your page. All the CMS (Content Management Systems) are adding by default the attribute 'nofollow' to the links entered in the comments area. This is telling to the search engine crawlers that they should not follow the link. It can even happen that you get exact the opposite result then you like if your links got collected to many times with a 'nofollow' attribute and the search engine interprets them as spam. In such a case your ranking will get lower instead of higher.

By following the links from the spammer I have seen a lot of suspicious sites, which are it even not worth to write a negative review about them because they are a big secret in the world wide web. With an Alexa global ranking of 3 million and above would be even a negative review a promotion for the site which is bringing more visitors in one week than they have during one year.

The most of this spammer are only looking how to get as much money as possible during a short time. For this they are trying to sell some useless products. This spammer are so stupid that they even don't know it, that as higher the promised earnings per sale is as more difficult is it to sell the product. They are still dreaming from "getting rich quick".

The scammer would have more success if they would invest the time for writing SEO or quality content for their site instead of searching for forums and blogs where they could drop their content.

In any case they should make first a product background check if the offered product itself is not already a scam. It is hard to sell something if the sales page gets already blocked from a Virus security system like 360 Total Security, Adguard/Adblock plus, Web Of Trust or some other browser filter. This makes the sales page not really trustful and keeps potential customers away. The ad blockers are already coming to a problem for the advertisers. A lot of people are already using such ad blocker.

There are enough good solutions for promoting a good product. If a product is already listed as useless in forums or blogs, then you need not promote it. In such a case it would be better to search for a better product and which you are able to handle. If you know nothing about the product, then you would not be able to promote and sell it. You need not try to sell dubious male enhancer, anti aging products, body building helpers, etc. if you are not able to present the product. Making a single webpage is not enough to attract visitors or get a good position at the search engines.

mansioncasino.com - a casino with a bad reputation and a hidden ownership

by Rudolf Faix 14. June 2015 12:37

MansionCasino.comThe online casino affiliates have been years ago a good business for affiliates. More then 20 years ago one of my friends in Austria earned very good by promoting online casinos. It seems the time has changed a lot and/or the casino owners have been coming too greedy that they need to use spyware and adware in their own software for spying their users. Whatever the real reason is, we can only guess it.

My opinion that someone, which hides his name at the domain registration data by using a proxy service, has something more to hide then only his privacy gets confirmed in this case.

Fact is that I got the following warning by opening the site from mansioncasino.com:

Warning! Could be unsafe!

Adguard has blocked access to this page

This web page at www.mansioncasino.com, has been reported as a phishing page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Adguard has found that this page may be a forgery or imitation of another website, designed to trick users into sharing personal or financial information. Entering any personal information on this page may result in identity theft or other abuse.

As one warning comes seldom alone I got immediately the next one after proceeding to the page:

WOT reputation of mansioncasino.com

I have one comment picked from the the comments at Web Of Trust for the site mansioncasino.com:

Especially the adware link inside the above message is interesting:

VirusTotal

All these adware and trojans are built for stealing information from your computer and deliver promotion to you.

Win.Adware.Agent-6597 is a malicious application that is designed to circumvent computer security, compromise a system, and deploy various advertising elements. These can include pop-up windows, browser redirects, and other problems. Some Win.Adware.Agent-6597 poses an additional threat by allowing personal information and computing activity to be collected and tracked.

The dangerous virus Win32.Troj.Undef(kcloud) is developed by the hackers to get the remote access to your computer, and steal your confidential data. This information may include the passwords, username, credit card numbers, and browsing history. The hackers use this data in the online frauds, and resultantly you lose your hard earned money. Besides that, this deadly dangerous virus modifies the windows registry by adding corrupt entries that cause regular crashes. Once installed, the Win32.Troj.Undef(kcloud) make your computer extremely slow by occupying the resources installed on the system.

I don't really like to test if they have removed or replaced the trojans and adware already. Such a report makes the site only more worse then only hiding their identity in the domain registration:

The domain, which is managing the affiliate system from mansioncasino.com, is iaffiliates.com. iaffiliates.com is using the same proxy provider as mansioncasino.com. They are also managing the affiliate systems for the following brands: casino.com, lesacasino.com, club777.com and slotsheaven.com.

All these domains have a bad reputation already, using the same proxy service and the same DNS servers for their internet service. For me it seems that they have the same owner.
