Scammer buxproplus.com does not know in which state they are located

by Rudolf Faix 13. December 2015 11:14

It seems that Bux Proplus did have only the money for the domain registration and not the additional funds for a privacy protection service and for this they have invented their own privacy protection service. Like each scammer seems their brain not trained enough and that seems to be their largest problem now.

If we take a look at their domain registration data then we'll find the city New York which should be located in Florida and has a postcode from Dallas County, Texas. Additional they have a phone number from North Alabama. It seems that they really don't know where they are located.

A person can really not get called "ptc bux builder" and there is no company name provided. You can be sure that the domain registration data are nothing else than a fake like the whole website.

Here are the actual domain registration data from buxproplus:

Scamadvisor reports the following warnings about buxproplus.com:

Low Trust Rating. This Site May Not Be Safe to Use.
Registered contact email address is a free one
Technical contact email address is a free one
Administrative contact email address is a free one
This Site Maybe Linked With Other Risky Sites
This website is 34 Days old
The website expected life (366 days) is relatively short.
The website appears to be less than six months old

Additional has the scammer his first payment proof listed on November 9, 2015 at 10:44am and the domain got created on the same day. I think that everybody knows that it is impossible to earn $4 or $10 within hours on a new Paid To Click (PTC) site:

Screenshot of the payment proof on the day the domain got created

Someone which is using wrong addresses on his domain registration is not trustful. Everybody who invest into such a fraud company is guilty by himself if he gets scammed.

Update January 26, 2015: At the time I have written the above article I have filed a complaint about the wrong domain registration address at the ICANN too. Yesterday I got the reply that the domain buxproplus.com got shutdown from the ICANN because even the registrar did not find them already. Here is the information email from the ICANN:

From: <compliance-tickets@icann.org>
Date: Mon, Jan 25, 2016 at 1:38 PM
Subject: [#SLH-067-22550]: Whois Inaccuracy complaint re: buxproplus.com closed
To: rudolffaix@gmail.com

Dear Rudolf Faix,

Thank you for submitting a Whois Inaccuracy complaint concerning the domain name buxproplus.com. ICANN has reviewed and closed your complaint because:

- Based on the current Whois data, the domain was suspended when the complaint was received by ICANN, or the registrar demonstrated that it took reasonable steps to investigate the Whois inaccuracy claim by suspending, deleting, cancelling or otherwise deactivating the domain name.

ICANN considers this matter now closed. If you have reason to believe that your complaint should not be closed, please forward this e-mail along with any other relevant information to ICANN Contractual Compliance at compliance@icann.org . ICANN will review your submission and, if appropriate, forward it to the registrar to ensure compliance.

Please do not reply to this email (replies to closed complaints are not monitored by ICANN staff).

ICANN is requesting your feedback on this closed complaint. Please complete this optional survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/ (Link parameter removed).

Sincerely,

ICANN Contractual Compliance

Think how trustful the offer has been as even the registrar from buxproplus.com has not been able to get in contact with them. Think also about it how a complaint from your site will get handled by such scammers if you have one.

Fraud & Scam

WHAFF - fake and misleading promotion

by Rudolf Faix 17. August 2015 12:08

WHAFFA Facebook advertisement of the scammer Jason White brought the app WHAFF into my focus. Everything what seems to good to be true is not true. The promotion for WHAFF is free invented:

Jason White
August 15 at 8:50pm

Instant $10 in your paypal account
No investment just follow below details
Download WHAFF Rewards.
Earn Real Money by Android mobile
You can spend 1 hour daily.Daily Earn $20 - $40
Download Whaff Reward App from Play store

Instructions:
1. After install, log in with facebook
Wait for few second automatically open a dialog box and Enter the code.
2. Enter Code AY19070 ( We both earn $10 )
3. Download and get the all reward $
4. Exchange $ to PayPal, Google Gift card or any other

Don't worry friends see the payment proof also

Guys Try it and see within one months you will be able to earn $500-$1000

Instead of earning $10 for signing up, you get $0.30. Instead of earning $20 - $40 per day, you need to be happy if you are earning $0.20 per day. You need only take a look at the offers in WHAFF and you'll get it that even $0.20 will be a high earning. An earning from your referrals is not foreseen like we can see on the following screen-shot:
WHAFF invite screen

Even the attached payment proof is a fake. At the payment proof we can see a payment of $10, but WHAFF does not pay $10 - the minimum payment is in every case higher:
WHAFF payout screen

While others are paying within a few minutes WHAFF hopes that they are able to find during three days a reason to decline the payment. That does not make them to a trustful company. Additional are they hiding their domain registration behind a privacy protection service:

If you visit their website and click at "SignIn" or "SignUp" then you get the message "The page whaff.com says: Comming Soon". It looks for me as the domain got registered January 2011 that this menu entry is comming soon since more than 4.5 years and did not arrive until now.

All the above facts are making the promotion (app description) of WHAFF in the Google Playstore to a bad joke:

uento - you need a lot of patience until you are able to earn a small amount

by Rudolf Faix 10. August 2015 10:52

uentoThe promotion from Uento is very misleading. You can earn money and you get paid, but you need a lot of patience. Their description in the Google Playstore:

Uento is the best way to get rewarded by collecting android apps and it also helps to keep them organized. It's simple and easy to find new exiting apps and the best thing: UNLIMITED FREE POINTS EVERY DAY!

Very misleading is the sentence: "UNLIMITED FREE POINTS EVERY DAY!". I have not seen in the last 2 months that you can get there unlimited free points. The possibilities have been very limited.

The idea behind Uento is not so bad. App developers can bring up their installation count by paying small fees and get on this way a better ranking in the Google playstore. Depending on the wishes of the app developer the users are getting 3 points just for installing the app, 5 points for installing and run the app one time or 8 points for installing the app, run it one time and keep it on the device for 3 days.

Update January 29, 2016: I have now uninstalled Uento as the app told me that I'm locked for two days because I have changed my country. Sorry, but I think that is only an excuse for them for not having some apps to install. I have even not left my house and I did not restart my phone. This bug happened already a few times to me, but now the idiotic programmer from Uento can tease himself in future. He is even too stupid to show you the apps which are in your area available and running on your device. With other words is the the programmer from Uento nothing else than a script kiddie without any global knowledge. A technical knowledge about Android is completely missing and he tries to limit down the users until his scripts are crashing and resulting in reboots of the phone. It seems that he is even not able to secure his collected data because otherwise how it would come that the message "You have changed your country" can appear?

The idiot does even not know that the world has airplanes which are going from country to country and you can carry a mobile phone with you.

End of the update.

If you like to try the app by yourself then you need a Paypal account. Payment is only done to a Paypal account. In such a case follow the steps:

  1. not recommendedDownload and install the Uento App from the Google playstore (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.uento&hl=en) FREE OF CHARGE
  2. Sign-up with your name, email and password
  3. You get an email from waypedia with a validation code
Copy the validation copy code into uento -> menu -> myprofile and press verify email with code
  4. Start installing apps from the Uento program

Each time you reach 250 points you transfer $2.50 to your Paypal account. A payment proof gets found at the end of this article. The payment gets done within seconds.

If you reach level 20 you'll get your own referral code. You'll get 2 points for each installation from referral level 1 and 1 point for each installation from referral level 2.

uento offers

The problem is only that not all apps are with all versions of Android compatible. Uento likes to force the installation of all the apps. You are as user not able to mark an app as not compatible with your device. You see in the following screenshot that the app Buzzapp is not compatible with my Samsung Note II (GT-7100N). The same is valid for the apps Global Classifieds and Global Business Directory! You can see it at the following screenshots:

App not compatibledevice status Samsung GT-7100N - Galaxy Note II

I signed up at Uento on June 22, 2015. It needed until July 19, 2015 until I collected enough points (250 points) for a $2.50 payment and I got my referral code as soon as I reached the level 20 - that has been on August 8, 2015.

The problems I have described in my article from July 15 "Time-Waster: uento.com - Nicholas Thompson - Apogaeis Technologies - apogaeis.com" are mostly gone. The last weeks a few updates of the Uento software happened. It seems that the installation recognition got improved because the last "FAILED" has happened to me on July 4, 2015.

Here you'll find my full installation history:
