Can You Make Money with Network Marketing?

by Rudolf Faix 19. July 2015 12:40

Pyramid SystemIt is conceivable to profit with MLM, in any case we trust it is profoundly unlikely. In his free eBook "Multi-Level Marketing Unmasked", Jon Taylor found that 99.7% of individuals will lose cash in system advertising. So for each 1,000 individuals who join a system showcasing group, 3 will win more cash than they spend. On the off chance to have 5 effective individuals in your first down line you’ll need to select 1,665 new individuals, so that 5 of them will be successful.

This may be a framework that "anybody can do", but at the same time it's a framework in which, just 1 in 333 individuals are effective. To attempt and comprehend why it is so troublesome for system advertisers to turn a benefit, we can take a closer look into the compensation plan of Amway, USANA, Herbalife and Nu Skin. Not surprisingly the framework for winning cash with every, are harmoniously one of a kind and comparable.

Each MLM has their own adaptation of paying commission and they are all offer comparative qualities. Shockingly we accept that they are organized in a manner that makes it exceptionally troublesome for anybody to turn a benefit in system showcasing. Case in point:

  • You need to "qualify" to procure any commission - You are honored "focuses" when you purchase items. This makes what we see as "manufactured interest" for the items. System promoting individuals are requesting item with a specific end goal to stay "dynamic". They arrange in overabundance of what they would by and by utilization or what they can on offer at a retail edge, which makes them stock heap the items.

  • The vast majority of the cash spent is by individuals - Network showcasing organizations recognize that next to no of their deals are because of retail request. The majority of the item being requested is by individuals for individual utilization (or to fulfill volume portions). Deals are not determined by business sector strengths; they are driven by individuals purchasing for volume targets. On the off chance that almost no cash is originating from outside the system, then the main route for individuals to benefit is to the detriment of individuals in their own particular down line.

  • It is a zero sum game - without natural deals, your up-line can just profit, on the off chance that you burn through cash. The stories you find out about the battling single guardian who is presently a mogul may be valid. Be that as it may they forget a critical point of interest, which is: Every one of those million dollars originated from different individuals from the system who are underneath them in the MLM progression (which is not pyramid paying little mind to how nearly it looks like one). Cash made by one individual from a MLM group, has been lost by another.

  • A System Prone to Negative Incentives - As we already noticed, the main way the vast majority makes any salary in system showcasing, is from marking new individuals beneath them in the framework. When you are in the framework, you're up line will get commission on any cash you spend. It is to their greatest advantage to instruct you to "you are ideal for the group" and to "continue spending that month to month amount". The more you spend, the more they win. They may accept that you can succeed in multi-level advertising, yet in all actuality, they require your cash coming into the framework with the end goal themselves should to succeed.

  • Multi-Level Marketing does not evacuate the center man - Direct advertising organizations will let you know that their organizations are "offering straightforwardly to you". Best case scenario, this is a misguided judgment, even under the least favorable conditions it's a deliberate distortion. You can arrange items specifically from the organization, yet they will pay a commission to the individual who enrolled you and a few others above you in the chain. They will let you know that you can possibly "acquire commission" from your down line. In all actuality you are getting to be another center layer in the conveyance chain between the supplier and your down line.

John Chow dot Com - how good is he really?

by Rudolf Faix 24. June 2015 16:23

John ChowJohn Chow is calling himself at his Facebook profile John Chow dot Com. That is a reason for me to take a closer look at his work and his offers. First I have taken a look into his free eBook, what he offers.

The title of this eBook is "The ultimate online profit model" with the subtitle "The Ultimate Guide to Making Six-Figure Monthly Income on the Internet and Living The Dot Com Lifestyle". The Acrobat file has 50 pages. After title, content and self-congratulation the eBook starts at page 15 with an explanation of "The Affiliate Marketing Model" and the disadvantages of this model. At page 22 starts "The Affiliate Marketing Model That I Use". There he explains the model that you should be a real reseller of the products, create your own brand and collect the email addresses for your marketing activities. This system is absolutely correct because the money is not made with the teaser or promotion articles. The money is made with the repeating satisfied customers.

At page 24 he starts already with the tools you should use for your marketing activities. Don't worry he is a good businessman and has not forgotten to add his affiliate links to the tools. The tools, which he recommends are AWeber and LeadPages. For hosting of the high expected traffic he recommends the service from HostGator. As each online shop needs to describe their products and make promotion for it he is recommending his own services IM John Chow, Blogging with John Chow, WP Blog Videos and Work From No Home.

A dot Com millionaire need to get a a lot of traffic to this sites. Such sites should rank nearly to Google (Alexa global ranking #1), Facebook (Alexa global ranking #2), LinkedIn (Alexa global ranking #14), etc.

IM John Chow:

Building a successful online empire from scratch

A typical site how is it today normal for affiliate marketing sites. You have a caption - in this case in the background graphics integrated - and a video, which is starting immediately. With other words nothing what search engines can use for generating their index for the site. The only machine readable text is the membership fee "Just $47.00 (Plus $47 a month if you remain a member of IM John Chow)" and the disclaimer from ClickBank at the bottom of the site. Such a site is normally a big secret in the World Wide Web. If you do not promote the site by yourself permanently you'll not get some visitors to this site. This get shown by taking a look at the global ranking from Alexa:

Alexa ranking of imjohnchow.com

A global Alexa ranking of 1,500,000 equals to around 10 unique visitors a month, around 1% will click on a promotion link and from this one, which are clicking on a promotion link will only 0.5% buy the product if the product has a good promotion. With other words this site cannot be the source of his income. If you like to close or leave the page a script will hindrance you and like to give you a special offer. After confirming two popups you are able to leave the page.

Blogging with John Chow:

This is a special site. Here shows us John Chow that he even does not know that there are server site scripts available. If you are using an ad blocker in your browser, then you get the following view:

an impressing screenshot of bloggingwithjohnchow.com

As we see the dot Com millionaire has no real content on the site. Such a site is useless and will not bring any visitor from search engines. Even this site is a big secret in the World Wide Web. The global Alexa ranking shows it too:

Alexa ranking of bloggingwithjohnchow,com

The above Alexa ranking shows us that this is not really the site from where the millions of dollars are coming. For this we need to take the next one.

WP Blog Videos:

At this site we see again that John Chow or his web designer has no idea about the Internet and the functionality of search engines because the caption of the site is a graphic, which cannot get read from the search engines. At least this site contains more text, which can get indexed from the search engines. Anyway the content is nothing else than the usual self praising and he like to sell on this site a training for blogging with WordPress in seven modules for $97.

WPBlogVideos

One of this modules contains SEO (Search Engine Optimizing). I think about which content the SEO training can have if John Chow proves already at his own sites that does not have any idea about search engines. OK, this site has more machine readable content then the other ones, but the Alexa global ranking show us that even this site is not the source of his income - the site has the nearly the same ranking like the site imjohnchow.com:

Alexa ranking of wpböpgvodeos.com

Work From No Home:

By opening this site we get a nice surprise from the WOT (Web Of Trust) browser plugin:

WOT warning showed at WorkFromNoHome.com

If we continue going to the site we get the next surprise (I have used another browser):

Sold Out

This site is not his income too. Why does he name it in this case in his eBook? Only for filling the space?

After seven pages of unbelievable praising his sites, which have no success, he starts promoting the business from Matt Lloyd of Perth, Australia: My Online Business Empire" (mobe.com) and "My Top Tier Business" (mttb.com). This promotion starts at page 31 and ends at page 46. This promotion is highly exaggerated that it only can be a SCAM. I'll analyze the sites during the next days.

Summary: John Chow started with blogging very early as the blogs have been coming up. He made a good impression with his blog and he has chosen the right topic at the right time. His first book has been "Make Money Online: Roadmap of a Dot Com Mogul". He generated a few more books about getting rich from his blogs, The books are getting offered at Amazon. I think that he made a good income with his first book, but like every time a followup is never so good as the premiere. A copy of this idea with the same topic is already not possible, because there are already too many competitors at the market available. The trial attempts from above are showing us that he is searching a new income method. He tries it by creating a brand with his name. At the above ranking values we can see how successful he is by doing this. He seems to be a good writer but the ranking values are telling us another story about his attempt to be a business man.

As we can see at his sites he does not have any idea about Internet business and SEO. We can find a lot of his fails at his Facebook page (.pdf (79.64 mb)) too. It is no shame to fail - you have to learn by your own mistakes. It is only cheaper to learn by the mistakes of others. In the case of John Chow I ask myself if his "Ultimate Online Profit Model" is based on experience or is the source only his fantasy? Where ends the promotion and where starts the reality?

The only one of his sites, which has a good ranking is johnchow.com. My opinion is that this site gets visited from the readers and fans of his books. These people are hoping to get rich too. Especially he has the best ranking in India - a low wage country where most of the people are very poor. He gives to the visitors of his page the dream of getting fast and easily rich. The only one which is getting rich with such a system is site owner and the people on the top of the legal pyramid.

Brad Gaines & Todd Gross - calling themselves Marketing Experts - ultimate-lead-system.com - instantprofits.website

by Rudolf Faix 20. June 2015 08:45

Facebook Marketing ManiaToday I have found a typical advertisement, which shows how you get lied and deceived if you believe to promotion. The advertisement offered the free eBook "Facebook Marketing Mania - Become The Next Marketing Media Mogul By Mastering Facebook Marketing". As it has been a give away, I have ordered it by using my email account from Google. A short time later I found the download link in the spam folder. It seems that Google knows the sender already very good :).

The eBook tries to explain on 24 pages (including cover picture, content directory, copyright notice) what is Facebook and how to turn your Facebook friends into leads by making a Facebook company page. With other words you'll find in the eBook nothing new or at least one idea, which you did not know by yourself already.

More interesting is the site from which you are downloading the eBook - http://bradgainesmarketing.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Facebook-Marketing-Mania.pdf. Marketing experts should have a site, which is very well visited and have a good traffic ranking. One of the oldest independent traffic ranker is Alexa. I know from my different sites, that an Alexa global ranking of 200,000 equals to around 300 unique visitors a day and an Alexa global ranking of 1,200,000 is equal to around 15 unique visitors a month. If we compare this values with the global ranking of bradgainesmarketing.com, a 2 year old site, then we see, that this website is a big secret in the World Wide Web:

Alexa ranking of BradGainesMarketing.com

If we take a look at the domain registry data from the landing page bradgainesmarketing, com, then we see that the site is using a privacy protection service from Panama. This is something additional, which makes the domain more suspect then trustful. Together with the Alexa ranking we can see that they have no idea from marketing.

As bradgainesmarketing.com is only a landing page. The page leads to the two months old domain ultimate-lead-system.com. This domain is registered for our surprise to Brad Gaines. Maybe Brad Gaines from Brad Gaines Marketing has learned already in the two years that hiding his identity is not good for his business. Anyway let us take first a look at the global Alexa ranking from the ultimate-lead-system.com:

As the Alexa global ranking is a ranking over the last three months and the domain ultimate-lead-system.com is only two month old, the ranking can improve a little bit every day until the website is older then three month or the marketing and the promotion for the domain gets more professional.

A time waster video (screenshot) on the site ultimate-lead-system.com explains you how you can generate leads by using their system. You have to generate sales for ultimate-lead-system.com for a one time fee of US$ 7 from which you'll get a commission of US$ 6.

The second website, which leads to ultimate-lead-system.com is instantprofits.website. There you'll find the same time waster video. This domain got created on January 17, 2015. At this time Brad Gaines did not know that a business will not be trustful by using a service for hiding the domain ownership. We see at the global Alexa ranking that the instantprofits.website domain is the biggest secret in the world wide web:

Summary: Which marketing tips can you expect from a "marketing company", which is not able to generate traffic and visitors for their own site? Why should you store and generate your leads on a system where the lead has to pay for it? If you are collecting your leads by yourself or using a free service, then you get more leads and more sales. The system does not really help you at the lead generation job. Pop-up blocker and script blocker (cross site scripting) will make more problems with the offered system then it can help you by managing your leads. The global rankings of the promoting sites are showing you already that the site owner does not understand anything from marketing. Which marketing tips can you get from such a site? If you invest the US$ 7 by inviting a friend to a beer, then you have more from your money.

Affiliate Marketing - is it a way for getting rich?

by Rudolf Faix 8. June 2015 12:23

Affiliate MarketingLet us first take a view about the definition of being rich. My own definition of being rich is: It is not a matter of the amount of money you have. You’ll be rich if you are satisfied with that what you have. If you are not happy with your life then money cannot help you. Very poor are this ones, which are sitting in a golden cage already and are running behind their investments, because they cannot trust someone.

Affiliate marketing is an easy system. The affiliates are sending traffic to the seller for no cost. Only when a sale occurs then the affiliate gets her commission. The affiliate needs to have enough visitors on her homepage for earning something on this way. The most websites don’t have this traffic.

If your website has enough traffic then is an easy system:

  • Select an affiliate offer to promote
  • Send traffic to the sales page the way you like
  • And wait until someone buys something that you can make money online

The only problem for the affiliate is:

  • The customer is not the one of the affiliate
  • The affiliate gets only paid once
  • The advertiser may pull the offer
  • The advertiser may lower the payout
  • Competitors are coming up

Real business is done on by keeping the customer and inviting them for new offers. For this the most affiliate networks are offering a very high commission rate for the initial sale. They are making the big money in the recurring sales.

You can beat the system by the following steps:

  • Choose a series of affiliate products from the same interest you are promoting
  • Create a free eBook about the interest for giving away
  • Create a own squeeze page offering the free eBook
  • Promote and capture the leads generated by the squeeze page
  • Deploy and email auto responder for building up a relationship with your new subscribers
  • Recommend affiliate products and services for your subscribers
