vivatic.com - Titus Sharpe - outside of the UK useless

by Rudolf Faix 28. June 2015 10:34

Vivaticvivatic.com seems to be a good visited site, but outside of the United Kingdom useless. You have first to spend money by taking some offers before you are coming to the interesting parts of the site. Alternative you have some surveys, where you can participate only if you have a domestic address at the United Kingdom. Even the offers are useless outside the United Kingdom. As I have entered my address from the Philippines I could not really check all the offered functions. The sign-up is free, but if you are not living at the UK it is only a waste of time.

The surveys even don't get pre-filtered and if a link to a survey is functioning then you get the message that you are not available to participate because you don't have an UK address.

Here is a screenshot how it should work, but you have to complete the listed steps at the right site one after each other:

Vivatic LogIn Screen

After signing up you have to chose Vivatic-Choose-your-favourite-3-from-the-UKs-top-offers.pdf (161.64 kb) before you can do something really on the site. If you not chose some offers then you get the message: "You’ve not yet entered our Bonus Bonanza Enter now to grab a bonus £0.50 for every £2.50 you earn through surveys until 12:00 on Monday June 29th"

The most of the available surveys are ending up with the message: "This partner requires all members to have validated their Paypal address and come from the UK. Please validate your PayPal address to access this survey.".

Some are even bringing the following message:

Server Error
404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

And one brought:

Warning! Could be unsafe!

Adguard has blocked access to this page

This web page at www.surveysavers.co.uk, has been reported as a phishing page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Adguard has found that this page may be a forgery or imitation of another website, designed to trick users into sharing personal or financial information. Entering any personal information on this page may result in identity theft or other abuse.

With other words the site has everything what it makes it useless. If you think that you can earn by promoting the site, then you'll get the next surprise about the conditions for referring a friend:

Refer A Friend
Recommend Vivatic to your friends and earn £2 for every friend who signs up and earns £10.

Note that the £10 can't include earnings from this referal scheme

As it is not possible to earn on the site something if you are living outside of the UK, is it in the most countries nothing else than an illegal pyramid system. Maybe it is possible to earn something if you are living in the United Kingdom, but I think you are spending more for taking the offers from the site than you can earn!

If we take a look at the Alexa Site statistics from vivatic.com, then we see that the most traffic is coming to the site from India:

Alexa ranking of vivatic.com

The huge traffic from India makes the ranking. As mostly the people from India are not reading the conditions would they be very surprised if they see that they are making a lot promotion for the site and earn nothing for their affiliate links.

Additional are the people very fast by deleting inactive accounts. I had signed up at June 22, 2015, have taken a look into the system 2 or 3 times and as I tried to log in today (June 28) after receiving a promotion (spam) email my account has been already deleted. Funny is that they did not delete my email address from their promotion system. For me is the site SCAM and scammer are normally too lazy for using their brain and for a serious business!

Fraud & Scam

mobe.com - a "Online Business Education" system with hidden ownership

by Rudolf Faix 25. June 2015 06:33

MOBEmobe.com is nothing else than a "Online Business Education" system. Their affiliate system promises earnings between $ 4.95 and $ 13,500 per sale. The system finances itself by a sign-up fee of $19.95 and a monthly membership fee of $ 19.95. At their site https://mobe.com/mobe-affiliate-program/ is written:

A monthly membership fee of $19.95 is applicable to maintain your affiliate program active. The fee covers the back office functionality, reporting, affiliate tools, and hosting.

With other words they are not enough earning that they are able to finance the back office functionality, reporting, affiliate tools and the their hosting. That is already not the best promotion for their system. By respecting this sentence already you'll see how hard it will be to sell their "Online Business Education" system. In my eyes is this promotion already a big fail. What can you learn about online marketing from such a company, which make terrible mistakes already on their website?

If you don't have a website, which has an Alexa global ranking under 50,000 and 100,000 followers in the social networks like John Chow then the sign-up and membership fee is only a waste of money. You can spend this money in a better way if you are inviting your wife or girl friend for a dinner each month. In this case you get at least something for your money. The same is valid for me with around 2,000 contacts from the social networks and with my blogs, which have around 300 unique visitors per day. In such a case you'll only help to promote and finance their system without getting something in return.

Even in the MOBE earnings disclaimer is written:

If you choose to promote MOBE products and live events as an affiliate partner, you understand your results will depend on many variables. Although MOBE can show the results of past and current affiliate partners, there is no way to predict what your individual results will be. MOBE has affiliate partners that have earned many hundreds of thousand of dollars promoting our products and events, and MOBE also have students that made no money, and students that have landed somewhere in-between these two extreme scenarios. Purchasing this product does not guarantee that you will have a certain result. Promoting MOBE products and events as an affiliate partner is like any real business with potential results that range widely, depending on many factors including you. We share this with you so we can insure that you made this decision to purchase our product with the correct expectations.

You should even think how much overpriced the products are if you can earn up to $ 13,500 per sale. No system can pay you more than the earning on a product are. If a system will pay you more than the earnings are and does not make winnings on another way then the company will run into bankruptcy very fast. Overpriced products will make it even harder to sell them. You'll need to find a lot of stupid people, which trust you blind in such a case. Such people are very seldom to find,

The overpricing is shown at the end of the page of the Platinum Membership program very good:

As a valued License Rights Partner, you get $1,250 commissions when we follow up on your leads and we sign up new License Rights members.
When you upgrade to Titanium, you then have the ability to earn $3,300 commissions.

Now, when you become a Platinum Mastermind member, you get $5,500 commissions when our phone team follows up with your leads and sells your Platinum rights.

You will be in the ultimate position of leverage without doing ANY extra work, and will have boosted your earnings potential from $1,250 a sale, to $10,500 a sale.

You need to think about the membership fees too and not about the commissions you'll get promised. The membership fees will increase dramatically too. For this you should think about the balance which will remain and not only on the earnings. You'll can be sure that this system and training is built up that way that you need to continue into the next step for not losing your investments.

Additional is the domain owner from mobe.com hiding his identity by using a proxy service. Maybe he is afraid to get to many gifts by snail mail from his happy customers. If we use Google we can find a lot of this happy customers from mobe.com - here are a few examples:

Ways To Avoid Scam Online:

Your ONLY goal within the system is to sell the system to others, you buying some prepackaged information is just a distraction from what is really going on. You refer people to this system (often times your friends/family) and the engine behind MOBE will take care of the ruthless upsells (people buy in for $49 and quickly realize they are going to have to drop $10,000’s if they want what they need).

You should also read the user comments on this site. At the moment are getting 174 found there. It will give you a good impression how the business is running at mobe.com.

Avert Scams:

  • Well it’s basically a replica of Empower Network scheme, only that it is on the high end of the continuum – obviously not for a newbie.
  • It is for those without morals or ethics and are prepared to dupe or suck in others at any cost.
  • Those who think they will make money on MOBE by selling its products forgetting that they are the ones ready to be plucked or they are all Matt’s customers.

Legitimate Job from Home:

My Online Business Empire, also known as MOBE, is just another scam out to take money away from people by feeding them the same old garbage, that they will make back more money in return for little work. Matt Lloyd is a sneaky liar and I'll explain why in just a bit. Though I personally lost only $49 to see what this program was all about, I know many others are losing THOUSANDS more.

The reader comments are interesting at Legitimate Job from Home too.

Summary: Nobody would promote a get rich system on the Internet if he would not need your money for getting rich by himself. MOBE is not different in this case.

Suspicious Sites

John Chow dot Com - how good is he really?

by Rudolf Faix 24. June 2015 16:23

John ChowJohn Chow is calling himself at his Facebook profile John Chow dot Com. That is a reason for me to take a closer look at his work and his offers. First I have taken a look into his free eBook, what he offers.

The title of this eBook is "The ultimate online profit model" with the subtitle "The Ultimate Guide to Making Six-Figure Monthly Income on the Internet and Living The Dot Com Lifestyle". The Acrobat file has 50 pages. After title, content and self-congratulation the eBook starts at page 15 with an explanation of "The Affiliate Marketing Model" and the disadvantages of this model. At page 22 starts "The Affiliate Marketing Model That I Use". There he explains the model that you should be a real reseller of the products, create your own brand and collect the email addresses for your marketing activities. This system is absolutely correct because the money is not made with the teaser or promotion articles. The money is made with the repeating satisfied customers.

At page 24 he starts already with the tools you should use for your marketing activities. Don't worry he is a good businessman and has not forgotten to add his affiliate links to the tools. The tools, which he recommends are AWeber and LeadPages. For hosting of the high expected traffic he recommends the service from HostGator. As each online shop needs to describe their products and make promotion for it he is recommending his own services IM John Chow, Blogging with John Chow, WP Blog Videos and Work From No Home.

A dot Com millionaire need to get a a lot of traffic to this sites. Such sites should rank nearly to Google (Alexa global ranking #1), Facebook (Alexa global ranking #2), LinkedIn (Alexa global ranking #14), etc.

IM John Chow:

Building a successful online empire from scratch

A typical site how is it today normal for affiliate marketing sites. You have a caption - in this case in the background graphics integrated - and a video, which is starting immediately. With other words nothing what search engines can use for generating their index for the site. The only machine readable text is the membership fee "Just $47.00 (Plus $47 a month if you remain a member of IM John Chow)" and the disclaimer from ClickBank at the bottom of the site. Such a site is normally a big secret in the World Wide Web. If you do not promote the site by yourself permanently you'll not get some visitors to this site. This get shown by taking a look at the global ranking from Alexa:

Alexa ranking of imjohnchow.com

A global Alexa ranking of 1,500,000 equals to around 10 unique visitors a month, around 1% will click on a promotion link and from this one, which are clicking on a promotion link will only 0.5% buy the product if the product has a good promotion. With other words this site cannot be the source of his income. If you like to close or leave the page a script will hindrance you and like to give you a special offer. After confirming two popups you are able to leave the page.

Blogging with John Chow:

This is a special site. Here shows us John Chow that he even does not know that there are server site scripts available. If you are using an ad blocker in your browser, then you get the following view:

an impressing screenshot of bloggingwithjohnchow.com

As we see the dot Com millionaire has no real content on the site. Such a site is useless and will not bring any visitor from search engines. Even this site is a big secret in the World Wide Web. The global Alexa ranking shows it too:

Alexa ranking of bloggingwithjohnchow,com

The above Alexa ranking shows us that this is not really the site from where the millions of dollars are coming. For this we need to take the next one.

WP Blog Videos:

At this site we see again that John Chow or his web designer has no idea about the Internet and the functionality of search engines because the caption of the site is a graphic, which cannot get read from the search engines. At least this site contains more text, which can get indexed from the search engines. Anyway the content is nothing else than the usual self praising and he like to sell on this site a training for blogging with WordPress in seven modules for $97.

WPBlogVideos

One of this modules contains SEO (Search Engine Optimizing). I think about which content the SEO training can have if John Chow proves already at his own sites that does not have any idea about search engines. OK, this site has more machine readable content then the other ones, but the Alexa global ranking show us that even this site is not the source of his income - the site has the nearly the same ranking like the site imjohnchow.com:

Alexa ranking of wpböpgvodeos.com

Work From No Home:

By opening this site we get a nice surprise from the WOT (Web Of Trust) browser plugin:

WOT warning showed at WorkFromNoHome.com

If we continue going to the site we get the next surprise (I have used another browser):

Sold Out

This site is not his income too. Why does he name it in this case in his eBook? Only for filling the space?

After seven pages of unbelievable praising his sites, which have no success, he starts promoting the business from Matt Lloyd of Perth, Australia: My Online Business Empire" (mobe.com) and "My Top Tier Business" (mttb.com). This promotion starts at page 31 and ends at page 46. This promotion is highly exaggerated that it only can be a SCAM. I'll analyze the sites during the next days.

Summary: John Chow started with blogging very early as the blogs have been coming up. He made a good impression with his blog and he has chosen the right topic at the right time. His first book has been "Make Money Online: Roadmap of a Dot Com Mogul". He generated a few more books about getting rich from his blogs, The books are getting offered at Amazon. I think that he made a good income with his first book, but like every time a followup is never so good as the premiere. A copy of this idea with the same topic is already not possible, because there are already too many competitors at the market available. The trial attempts from above are showing us that he is searching a new income method. He tries it by creating a brand with his name. At the above ranking values we can see how successful he is by doing this. He seems to be a good writer but the ranking values are telling us another story about his attempt to be a business man.

As we can see at his sites he does not have any idea about Internet business and SEO. We can find a lot of his fails at his Facebook page (.pdf (79.64 mb)) too. It is no shame to fail - you have to learn by your own mistakes. It is only cheaper to learn by the mistakes of others. In the case of John Chow I ask myself if his "Ultimate Online Profit Model" is based on experience or is the source only his fantasy? Where ends the promotion and where starts the reality?

The only one of his sites, which has a good ranking is johnchow.com. My opinion is that this site gets visited from the readers and fans of his books. These people are hoping to get rich too. Especially he has the best ranking in India - a low wage country where most of the people are very poor. He gives to the visitors of his page the dream of getting fast and easily rich. The only one which is getting rich with such a system is site owner and the people on the top of the legal pyramid.

Suspicious Sites

Spamming Blog comments and Forums

by Rudolf Faix 21. June 2015 11:49

No SpamSpammers have tried to post their stupid content 143 times since June 8, 2015 as comments to my articles at the Affiliates Marketing Reviews blog. More than 70% from this postings got automatically deleted.

Spamming blog comments and forums does not help you in SEO or brings you more visitors to your page. All the CMS (Content Management Systems) are adding by default the attribute 'nofollow' to the links entered in the comments area. This is telling to the search engine crawlers that they should not follow the link. It can even happen that you get exact the opposite result then you like if your links got collected to many times with a 'nofollow' attribute and the search engine interprets them as spam. In such a case your ranking will get lower instead of higher.

By following the links from the spammer I have seen a lot of suspicious sites, which are it even not worth to write a negative review about them because they are a big secret in the world wide web. With an Alexa global ranking of 3 million and above would be even a negative review a promotion for the site which is bringing more visitors in one week than they have during one year.

The most of this spammer are only looking how to get as much money as possible during a short time. For this they are trying to sell some useless products. This spammer are so stupid that they even don't know it, that as higher the promised earnings per sale is as more difficult is it to sell the product. They are still dreaming from "getting rich quick".

The scammer would have more success if they would invest the time for writing SEO or quality content for their site instead of searching for forums and blogs where they could drop their content.

In any case they should make first a product background check if the offered product itself is not already a scam. It is hard to sell something if the sales page gets already blocked from a Virus security system like 360 Total Security, Adguard/Adblock plus, Web Of Trust or some other browser filter. This makes the sales page not really trustful and keeps potential customers away. The ad blockers are already coming to a problem for the advertisers. A lot of people are already using such ad blocker.

There are enough good solutions for promoting a good product. If a product is already listed as useless in forums or blogs, then you need not promote it. In such a case it would be better to search for a better product and which you are able to handle. If you know nothing about the product, then you would not be able to promote and sell it. You need not try to sell dubious male enhancer, anti aging products, body building helpers, etc. if you are not able to present the product. Making a single webpage is not enough to attract visitors or get a good position at the search engines.

Scammer: trafficmonsoon.com - a site with a hidden domain ownership

by Rudolf Faix 18. June 2015 12:47

TrafficMonsoonNot only the business model from Trafficmonsoon is suspect. Their behavior seems to be very strange too, Yesterday I have made a free sign-up at Trafficmonsoon and got a two confirmation emails.

Yesterday I have taken a look around in the membership area and viewed a few advertisements - more then 10. As the membership site from Trafficmonsoon is not very user friendly and I needed to leave for an appointment, I decided to continue today. At the login process today I got the message "There is no rfaix in our database.".

If you are thinking logical then you'll get it that trafficmonsoon.com is only a time-wasting and/or money-wasting system. Each advertiser or advertising agency likes to get clicks because the user is interested into the product. Such user will get easier to be a customer then someone, which clicks only for the reason for getting paid or to get some clicks on his own advertisement. Such one will even not read the content of the site. He will automatize the clicks or wait until he will be able to take the next opportunity for getting more. For this is the scam already included into the system from TrafficMonsoon.

Even Scamadviser reports about trafficmonsoon.com:

Low Trust Rating. This Site May Not Be Safe to Use.
Site is United States based, But The Real Location Is Being Hidden
Alert Result: The owner of the website is using a service to hide their identity
Alert Result: This website is 288 Days old

If we take a look at their business model, then we see that this system will not last long. On one side they like to sell traffic to advertisers and on the other side they give a little bit traffic in exchange to users for viewing the advertisements from their advertisers. The user does this only for getting something in exchange and not because he is interested watching advertisements. As soon the advertiser will know this system they will avoid it.

For the advertisers is such a system not making any sense. Advertisements should get viewed if a user is interested in the product and not for getting something in exchange. The click rate for such advertisements is nearly zero. Even if the user need to click on the advertisement the advertising will not make any profit for the advertiser. Alone for this fact is the business model from Trafficmonsoon already nothing else then scam. It is only adjusted to make money for the owner of Trafficmonsoon and give nothing in exchange to the advertising companies.

If we take a look at the user ratings in WOT (Web Of Trust) about Trafficmonsoon then we can see the source from Trafficmonsoon. From 28 user ratings are 27 in Russian language. This shows too which kind of advertising you'll get from them

The one user rating, which is in English written, is negative too;
