Survey site: - legal but in truth a waste of time to promote their services

by Rudolf Faix 4. August 2015 06:52

MarketagentMarketAgent is an official company with the location in Austria, Germany, Slovenia and Switzerland. That alone does not make them trustful. It shows only in which market they are active and which law they have to respect and where they are responsible in front of the law court.

If you are taking a look at their locations then you'll see that the English speaking market is not really their market. Austria, Germany and their location in Switzerland is German speaking. So it does not really make any sense to promote their services if you read their conditions at their website:

Registration as a survey participant: 150 Points

In principle, the invitation to participate in surveys is done by random selection. Which means, that our system uses randomly our address pool and selects the number of participants automatically - this is methodologically necessary. Often, participants must also meet certain characteristics (e.g.: male and living in Berlin or Vienna). Because of this, there can be greater distances between the surveys from time to time and then it can go back quite quickly.

Friend invited by the survey participant : 100 Points
You will receive the points for recommending new member only, when the referred person has completed his/her first survey.

Updating your personal information (1x per year): 50 Points
Please note that the points for updating your personal information will only be credited, if we have asked you to do so via email.

Participation in the online survey: 20 - 250 points

Conversion: 1.2 dollar = 120 cents = 100 bonus points

Bonus points will be awarded to your account immediately after completing each survey. Anytime you can convert Exchange Area the survey points into cash or rather products or services of our cooperation partners. Each time after you collect 200 number of points you can exchange them.

Bank transfer, Paypal, Skrill

From the above statements is ony "Conversion: 1.2 dollar = 120 cents = 100 bonus points" against the European Consumer law, because the U.S. members are getting a better conversation as the European members - actually is € 1.00 ~ US$ 1.09829.

In any case are their conditions only for their own benefit. If you invite someone to their system, then you'll get only paid if he is usefull for them. As you don't know it in front which kind of people they are searching is it nothing else than mass collection of data.

The result of this system can get seen in the comments from Web Of Trust. There has written Rayven_redeye on 04/21/2011 (translated to English):

A little extra income, as I said, you can do so about 30 € per year, to be made depending on the amount of surveys.
You get the surveys sent by mail, if you do not want to participate in the survey, the mail can get ignored because there is no "minimum" that must be met. The transfer works without problems, however, can take up to 3 weeks.

The user azereus has written on 03/28/2011 at WOT (translated to English):

you get around 1x survey per month sent. if make the survey until the end you get up to 2.5 €. adds up to € 30 / year. the money can be transferred on their own account.
Yes it works !!

The user ZLazarow has commented on 04/16/2012 at WOT:

I have completed few surveys and get 600 points(6€), at ask to payout to my paypal acount, onthe web page shows transfer succesful, but money I never get to my Paypal account, I wrote many times to, but not answered to any my mail sent...

I thik this is SCAM

Summary: If we take a look at the above comments then we see that they have not enough surveys that their members can get a higher income. I received never an invitation for a survey from them. It did not make any difference if I have been living in Vienna or at country side near to Vienna and I have been every time a typical consumer (living in a family with kids).

The European consumer data protection law keeps you save that your data are not getting traded.

Only people, which are not able to read and think, will promote at the English speaking part of the world. In any case such people are only wasting their time because they have even not enough surveys for their German speaking members and the referrer gets only paid if the refferal participates on his first survey.

This case shows even that all these other survey sites, which are offering you a high monthly income are only SCAM and they willnot pay you. The worst ones are these, which are asking for a membership fee from you.

Affiliates & MLM Marketing | Suspicious Sites

BitGold confirms that they are offering services which they are not able to fulfill

by Rudolf Faix 1. August 2015 06:52

gold barsBitGold support is confirming in their email that not one of their team is speaking German, but on their own site they are offering a German speaking support and they have a website in German too. Already this is a misleading promotion. How will they answer such a call? I think it will not take a long time if they are getting fined from the competition bureau of the European Union for their misleading marketing practice.

Lets start from the beginning. I have sent them a request for canceling my membership:

Please delete my account. The German translation is not understandable - it
is nothing than plain shit what is written there. Changing to English
resulted in the for me not understandable language Svenska. As your
business seems to be in reality from Eastern Europe or India, which is
hosting their services at the Amazon cloud and even have no own servers and
security systems is your company not trustful. Not one bank in Europe is
using a public hosting provider for their own services.

Additional I signed up by a misleading promotion, which did not get

best regards
Rudolf Faix

Instead of disabling my account immeditely I got the following response:

JUL 24, 2015  |  04:30PM EDT
Ben replied:

We regret to hear of your intentions to cancel your account. We can certainly fulfill your request, but before we do so, can you please answer the following three questions:

1. Did you find BitGold’s TOS policy to be fair and equitable?

2. What are your views on BitGold’s gold prices?

3. Why are you closing your BitGold Act.?

We hope you reconsider using the platform in the future.

My answer has been a link to my previous article about BitGold:

Rudolf replied:

Hi Ben

There are a lot of reasons why I cancel my account directly after signing
up. You can find a few of them at:

That has been only the first impression. What will I find all if I'm
starting making a real background check?

best regards

In their following answer we see that they know about the problems of the translation from their own site. The question is only why they not solve this problems? They are only writing that they are working on it - until now they even did not change something and it takes only a few hours to fix the translation. Do they not have enough money? It is their own reputation which gets destroyed if they let the content online. We find the same money saving action in their referral program confirmed in their email:

Melanie Tyler replied:

Hi Rudolf,

We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I’d like to address some of the concerns you brought up in your article to provide better clarification. Firstly, we are very sorry about the translation issue. We are based in Toronto, Canada, and no one on our team speaks German. I will be completely honest – we had contracted the translation out to a translation company in Europe and have since heard (especially for the German version of the site) that a lot of it does not make sense. We are currently in the process of having this corrected and apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.

Our Golden Heart referral program and affiliate program are not lotteries, as your article suggested. The amounts are different in each region based on the usage we are seeing from each country, so that is why we advise users that their reward may vary. We cannot control how users advertise the program on social media, but the affiliates Facebook page (“BitGold Affiliate Program”) and your personal Golden Heart referral page are the best sources on information about each promotion.

If we can provide more information for you, we would be happy to do so. If you would still like to delete your account, we can also do that for you.

Kind regards,

VP of Customer Success
BitGold Inc.
Phone: (647) 977 9004 | Fax: (647) 499 4435 | Toll-free 1800 854 7418 |

The above email shows that BitGold even does not understand their self-induced problems. It shows that they are working according to the motto: "We're saving - cost what it may". My answer to this email has been accordingly:

How you can say that your referral program is not a lottery?
In my case is it already a lottery at which place I'm at the moment or which address I use for signing up. I have a company in New York, Vienna/Austria and in Manila/Philippines. Depending on which place I'm or signing up I get a different handling.
I even cannot promote your system because of your different promises. My market is the German and English speaking part of the world. I'm not able to offer something from your company without getting called to be scammer or liar from one or more parts of the world.
Do you see now the problem?
As your company is not able to understand international marketing you are proving that you even not understand something from your own business. Who shall trust you in this case if you fail already during your marketing process?
Sorry, but my own reputation is more important than your first steps in learning how an international marketing is working.
Don't forget if you are reaching the wrong people like me and there are a lot of them available at the world, than a handful of these people can be your ruin. In such a case the best promotion will not help you.
That you cannot control how people are advertising your system in the social media is true, but it has been your decision to let people advertise your service and you have to accept the result. It is your reputation which is going down together with the advertisers reputation. With other words is it for you not an excuse because you have started it and this without thinking about the consequences. Even this shows that you have no experienced people in your company. Maybe all of your staff is coming directly from the school or you are saving money by hiring under graduated ones.
As you have confirmed that not one at your company is speaking German, how do you handle callers at your support hotline if I'm calling the German support with the number +49-69-204575283, which is only an extension?

Summary: As I have decribed at the article "BitGold Inc. - very suspicious - will they burst like a bubble?" confirms the email from BitGold that everything at their systems is quick, cheap and dirty. The same methods we find in their support as they are offering something which they are not able to fulfill. Not one of their systems, which is visible from outsiders, is working on a serious way. What are you expecting in this case how they are handling your money? Maybe if you are customer from them you'll get an email once which tells you that during a programming mistake all your funds got lost, but BitGold is not guilty. Guilty is the external programming company.

My opinion is that a company, which is offering payment and investment services needs to make in each case a very serious impression otherwise they will not survive. Some people are so modest - they even don't accept reason.

It looks for me that they are struggeling with money because they are even not fixing their small problems. How long will it take in such a case that they would use customer funds for solving their problems? We have in German language a proverb which is translated into Enlish: "Opportunity makes the thief."

Suspicious Sites - a payment processor with a bad reputation

by Rudolf Faix 15. July 2015 11:40

From a payment processor you'll expect that he has a good reputation and does not hide himself in anonymity. It would even don't make any sense to hide the domain registration data by using an anonymizing service and publish afterwards the company name including the address on the homepage. The published company name, OZ Payments LLC. 610 9th St NW Washington, DC, United States, is wrong too. OZ Payments LLC is not a registered company in the United States.

At the address 610 9th St NW Washington, DC, United States gets found the Gallup building - a formerly Masonic temple. You'll find at the same address in Google only the pizza restaurant, which you can see at Google streetview too, and the parking company. No other companies are getting found at the same address.

You'll not find an email address at their homepage and no contact form. If you press the button

 24/7 Support

you'll see at the next screen shot what they are understanding about a 24/7 support:

Contact us page without any information hw

If you have problems you have to send them a snail mail. Maybe the get so many letters from their "happy customers" that need to work 24/7 for answering them and have written for this reason 24/7 support at their homepage.

If you are entering a bank and the staff is hiding themselves behind masks you'll think more about a bank robbery than about a trusted business partner. The same is valid for making business over the Internet. Serious companies are proud about their name and their reputation. They will not hide themselves as good as possible.

The reputation from Web of Trust shows that their reputation got already destroyed:

Fraud & Scam

Spammer & Scammer: is rotating the survey offers from ClickBank

by Rudolf Faix 13. July 2015 09:48

By taking a look at the promotion I ask myself why someone goes for work a full month, if he can earn more then average within a few hours of work?

Such a offer sounds too good to be true. We know that everything, which seems to be too good to be true is not not true. The same situation is with the offer from They are promoting that you can earn for filling surveys. Nobody will pay you for filling surveys, they are only collecting your data for selling them in the best case. Promotion goes into the masses and no company likes to get the opinion of only a handful people, for this they are not able to pay you big sums for filling out some surveys.

The Chinese Terry Shi is rotating the Survey from ClickBank. Maybe he is hoping to get rich quick. He should think about it that he will only spend money instead of getting rich. Before May 12, 2015 he has been promoting the offer from Now he is promoting the offer for

Take Surveys for Cash

We can expect a lot fake domains, which have the same content like the original site. As scammer are lazy they let the content running in a frame or redirecting to the original site. Another problem is, that nobody will promote a way to earn like a CEO if he not need your money for his earnings.

By taking a closer look at the click4surveys website, then we find the reason why they are spamming the social network sites - it is their affiliate program. That is the way how the members of click4surveys are earning money with their unbelievable promotion.

We find at the end of the website a FTC disclaimer, where is written, that the person found in the testimonials/endorsment got paid for publishing their opinion. This show us already the fake:

FTC disclosure: The persons found in the testimonials/ endorsements on this page have received monetary incentives to publish their opinions about Click4Surveys. These persons were part of an initial trial group that received free access to the Click4Surveys program along with monetary payment for voicing their opinion about their experiences.

If I'm earning a lot from a little bit work, like one hour per day, nobody need to pay me for making promotion for this kind of work.

Even does not guarantee something. For this you need only to read the very small printed disclaimer at the end of their website. This disclaimer shows us that they not believe into their own system: Earnings Disclaimer: Every effort has been made to accurately represent this product and it's potential. Even though this industry is one of the few where one can write their own check in terms of earnings, there is no guarantee that you will earn any money using the techniques and ideas in these materials. Examples in these materials are not to be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of earnings. Earning potential is entirely dependent on the person using our product, ideas, techniques and the effort put forth. We do not purport this as a "get rich scheme." Your level of success in attaining the results claimed in our materials depends on the time you devote to the program, ideas and techniques mentioned, knowledge and various skills. Since these factors differ according to individuals, we cannot guarantee your success or income level. Materials in our product and our website may contain information that includes or is based upon forward-looking statements within the meaning of the securities litigation reform act of 1995. Forward-looking statements give our expectations or forecasts of future events. You can identify these statements by the fact that they do not relate strictly to historical or current facts. They use words such as "anticipate," "estimate," "expect," "project," "intend," "believe," "plan," and other words and terms of similar meaning in connection with a description of potential earnings or financial performance. Any and all forward looking statements here or on any of our sales material are intended to express our opinion of earnings potential. Many factors will be important in determining your actual results and no guarantees are made that you will achieve results similar to ours or anybody else's, in fact no guarantees are made that you will achieve any results from our ideas and techniques. Results vary, and as with any money-making opportunity, you could make more or less. Success in ANY money-making opportunity is a result of hard work, time and a variety of other factors. Conclusion: It is a typical pyramid system with the touch of MLM/affiliate marketing. Only the people on the top are earning.

Fraud & Scam a survey site - very suspect - is it worth to try?

by Rudolf Faix 17. June 2015 09:36

Update July 1, 2015: This site is only a time-waster. Be happy that you wasted only time and not money by participating at this sites hosted in the Ukraine for the case you signed up already. If you did not sign-up then use your time for something better.

The reason is described in the article Phishing: Survey & News Sites hosted at the Ukraine.

WhoSurveyToday I found the survey site, which seems to be very suspect. The site is new and I could not find out how they are scamming their members as there is no membership fee or some other payment request. Even there is no request for any personal data during the sign-up process. You don't need more then chose a username, a password and provide a Paypal or Payza account where you'll receive your payment. For this the offer sounds too good to be true for me. Let us take a look at the positive and negative sides first.

  • You need not to pay something for participating
  • You don't get asked about any personal information
  • You get $30 sign-up bonus
  • You get $14 for each completed survey (only 3 surveys allowed per day)
  • You get $15 for every new user and 20% from his earning every day
  • There is no promotion on the site. Adguard blocks only one external hit counter

As I'm curious about their business model I have signed up. As I have not used my Paypal account since years I have no risk because my Paypal account is not linked to any actual bank account or credit card. Even if they try to hack the account I'm losing nothing and have no problem or work for getting some money back.

I got my initial sign-up bonus from $30 and I made 3 surveys. Each survey got paid with $14. The survey process has been watching a short promotion video and afterwards needed to get answered some questions about the quality of the video, have seen the video before already, would you buy the product shown in the video, etc. Each survey has taken around 3 minutes time. After each survey the promised amount of $14 got added to my balance. I even did not try it to take a fourth survey because only three surveys are allowed per day.

A research in the negative comments on the Internet did not bring any real information how they are scamming their members. There has been written that the account balance stopped after completing a survey, the site has not been reachable, the same survey got displayed once more or the amount did not get immediately transferred. That can be start up or technical problems too. The site is around one month old. I'll continue observing the site and as soon I have reached the $500 minimum for payout, I'll try to transfer it to my Paypal account. If you like that I reach the limit earlier then you can signup by using my affiliate link: In such a case we need not wait a little bit more than a month until we see if the site is scam or not. As soon as they are asking money from me, I'll make my next report about this site.

Update June 26, 2015: I have reached a sum of $ 504.60 and requested the payout. I got the message:

You can get payment at any moment if you have the minimum sum. For that you need to enter Login and your account number in PayPal or Payza.
Payments will be sent every 14 workdays.

If you do not want to wait 14 days - take 5 friends to our project.
And your money will be sent without waiting exactly on that day.

Money was sent. Please wait...

I'll report as soon as the money will arrive at my Paypal account or the 14 days are over.

My special thanks are going to the followers doondi1981; bhaskarsingh11 and mularamgodara which have helped me reaching the payment limit faster.

Update June 27, 2015: After login in to the site I get redirected to the site Only if I open a second time the page I'm reaching the dashboard. That shows that the site is live, but it shows also the methods the site owners like to use to avoid payments. dashboard

Update June 28, 2015: A Facebook member promoted the site with a faked payment prove where he got paid already at June 1, 2015 but the site got registered on June 19, 2015. So how he could get paid already on June 1 if the site even not existed?

Anyway, as the sign-up is free and no personal data are requested, I have signed-up and found a copy of Only the payout limit is at wheresurvey higher ($800).

As I have been looking at my account at whosurvey, com, I have found even a calculation mistake in the statistics: invitation page

In the last line "a month before" is written the value $559.20 but I have never been at this value and a month before I even did not attend to this system. I have checked every day my earnings and the sum is only $504. :)

A copy from WhoSurvey is the site WhereSurvey. The only difference is that the minimum payout of WhereSurvey is $800.

Take a look at my reports about

and compare the data it by yourself.
